Galaktika Terminal, managed in partnership with Graincom Shipping, is a specialized logistics complex located in the Izmail port area, designed for high-efficiency transshipment of agricultural products, mineral fertilizers, general cargo, and breakbulk shipments.

Its strategic location and direct access to the Danube make the terminal a perfect hub for exports to Europe and the European Union.

Technological Capabilities

  • Bulk Cargo: grains and oilseeds (wheat, corn, soybeans, rapeseed), meals (pelleted and non-pelleted), with direct transshipment or storage-based handling
  • Mineral Fertilizers and other Cargo in Big Bags: sugar, construction materials, with options for packing, repacking, and labeling
  • Breakbulk Cargo: packaged products, sacks, pallets
  • General Cargo: import and export, covered and open storage areas
  • Liquid Cargo: direct transshipment “vessel ⇄ tank truck”

Infrastructure

  • Berth:
    • Draft up to 7.0 m (deepest in the Izmail basin)
    • Vessel handling up to 150 m in length
    • Suitable for barges, pushers, river vessels, and small sea vessels
    • Three independent conveyor loading lines, 2,500 t/day each
  • Storage Facilities:
    • Covered warehouse No.1 — 865 m² / 3,200 m³ capacity (up to 2,500 t of wheat)
    • Covered warehouse No.2 — 1,536 m² / 7,370 m³ capacity (up to 5,600 t of wheat)
    • Combined intake: up to 130 trucks/day
  • Open areas for accumulation and storage:
    • Waiting zone for up to 100 trucks
  • Truck Scales:
    • Strain gauge type, 80 t, 18 m length
  • Rail Integration:
    • Direct branch line from Izmail station, handling up to 16 wagons
    • Automated intake pit: up to 200 t/hour, up to 48 wagons/day
    • Capable of handling hoppers, gondolas, mineral wagons
